Bellaire Youth Initiative’s mission is to provide a safe, fun and nurturing environment where youth and their peers meet to relax, learn, share and be themselves in a setting supervised by dedicated volunteers.
Vision Statement
Bellaire Youth Initiative’s Vision is to inspire our students – by developing their curiosity, skills and knowledge – to thrive and be the best they can be.
Operating as a non-profit organization, Bellaire Youth Initiative offers after school opportunities for K-12 students. We were founded in 2013 and remain fully funded by financial support from community donors – business, friends, families, and churches and grants.
We are managed by a Board of Directors; paid coordinators run the initiatives and are assisted by volunteers. We are always looking for additional help!! We offer students an opportunity to feel part of the wider community and to have learning experiences beyond the school curriculum.
