Cooking

Students, grades 5 –12, learn valuable cooking and meal preparation skills, recipe reading, sanitary practices, teamwork and organization skills. Cooking sessions are held Fall, Winter and Spring. Besides eating their own creations in the afternoon, recipes are shared with Meadowbrook residents or taken home to share with their families. Dee Lynch is the initiative leader. Babysitting

Babysitting Certification, for grades 5 – 12. These classes will help current and future babysitters learn universal skills and techniques. Classes will include basic care for children, basic first aid, age-appropriate activities and emergency protocols.
